MATH HOMEWORK CLUB: Struggling with CPM math homework or just need a quiet study place to get homework done before your next extracurricular activity? Every Tuesday in C-4 will be math homework club. Stop by to get additional assistance from a teacher/tutor or work as a team to complete a task. Everyone is welcome.
GIRLS WHO CODE with Mrs. Peterson: Learn how to code in a fun and creative environment. Design, craft and code your way to creating a robot!
ELL HOMEWORK with Mrs. Mudge: This club is where English Language Learners can get help on classwork or homework for any of their classes.
UNITY with Ms. Whittle: Unity Club is a student-run after school club that gives students a safe space to be themselves, find support, and work together to create a safer school environment for all. The club is both social and supportive, and advocates for creating a school culture of unity and acceptance. Anyone is welcome to join!
YEARBOOK with Ms. Hitsman and Mrs. Hernandez: Be a part of creating school memories. Create the 2019/2020 yearbook. Club members capture pictures during school events, write stories, interview peers and design yearbook pages.

SCIENCE OLYMPIAD with Mr. Murchison:
Science Bowl with Mr. Phelps: Science Bowl® is an academic competition that tests students’ knowledge in all areas of science and mathematics. Teams face-off in a fast-paced question-and-answer format, being tested on a range of science disciplines including biology, chemistry, Earth science, physics, energy, and math. Regional competition is at University of Portland on February 8, 2020. Transportation to weekly meetings and the competition is not provided by the school. This group will have their first meeting on Oct. 22, after that the new meeting dates will be determined.
FUN FITNESS with Ms. Fitzpatrick: The Fun Fitness Club will focus on improving fitness while having fun. It will be in the fitness gym and will incorporate strength building, cardiovascular improvement, speed, balance, and agility training through games, stations and other activities. We will have fun while working towards personal fitness goals.
GUITAR with Mr. Cohen: Intended for beginners and absolute beginners, students will learn strumming, all of the basic chords, how to transition from chord to chord smoothly, and how to play multiple songs (which they can play along to as the songs play on the stereo). It's a lot of fun, and students will be amazed at how fast they learn. Membership limited to 12 students.
SUSTAINABILITY with Mr. Phelps: Sustainability is helping the environment and decreasing carbon footprint. Sustainability club is a club to encourage sustainable practices. In this club, our goal is to make cedar park a more sustainable and ecologically friendly school. Join our club and help us make cedar park the most sustainable middle school in the district.
CEDAR PARK PYTHON CODING with Mrs. Ackerman: Come learn one of the most used forms of coding in the U.S. Coders learn the core principles of programming and gradually build the technical skills needed to develop their own projects and games.
