Q: My student(s) chromebook from the Spring is not broken, and is working just fine. When will my student(s) receive their brand new Acer chromebook?
A: Students with a functioning chromebook will hold onto their chromebook until mass chromebook distributions are scheduled. Continue to read communication from Cedar Park for information on when our mass chromebook distribution will be.
Q: My student(s) chromebook is broken/not working, how can we get a new one?
A: If the chromebook is no longer working and will not be able to support Comprehensive Distance Learning from home, please contact the Student Help Desk at shd@beaverton.k12.or.us to schedule an appointment to pick up a replacement chromebook.
When emailing the Student Help Desk, please ensure you have included the following information: Student Name(s), Student ID#(s), School Name(s).
Q: My student is transferring to another school within the Beaverton School District, what should I do with their chromebook from Cedar Park?
A: If your student still needs to use the chromebook that was issued to them from Cedar Park they may continue using it until their new school is able to distribute a new chromebook to your student. At that time, you may turn in the Cedar Park chromebook to the new school your student is attending.
Q: My student is moving away from the Beaverton School District, what should we do with our student(s) chromebook?
A: If your student is moving away from the Beaverton School District, please return the chromebook and any Library materials to Cedar Park. Items can be returned Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., please set all items to be returned on the labelled cart outside the Main Office door.
Q: My student has a personal computer they will be using and no longer needs their chromebook from Cedar Park. Can I return it?
A: Yes, chromebooks can be returned Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., please set all items to be returned on the labelled cart outside the Main Office door.
Q: My student does not have a chromebook at home and needs one to participate in Comprehensive Distance Learning, how do I get a chromebook for my student?
A: Please contact the Student Help Desk at shd@beaverton.k12.or.us to schedule an appointment to pick up a chromebook.
When emailing the Student Help Desk, please ensure you have included the following information: Student Name(s), Student ID#(s), School Name(s).
